From November 5 to 7, 2024, GulfHost returns to the Dubai World Trade Centre as a leading event for the hospitality, restaurant, and foodservice sectors. With over 2,500 qualified buyers and decision-makers from more than 150 countries, GulfHost stands out as a strategic trade fair not only for the Middle East but also on the international stage. The event will feature more than 350 exhibitors, prepared to present the latest technological innovations, from smart kitchen systems to café solutions, furniture, and dining equipment.

Italian Food NewsGulfHost 2024 is an official media partner of GulfHost and will be covering the events, offering valuable information and insights on business opportunities for food companies in the Middle East.

New pavilions, training, and thematic workshops

The 2024 edition of GulfHost expands with new pavilions from Brazil and India, joining established participants from the United Kingdom, Italy, and Germany. This diversity among exhibitors emphasizes the increasingly international reach of the event, positioning it as a showcase for solutions spanning the entire foodservice supply chain, from operational areas to customer-facing services.

One of the highlight events at the fair will be the Foodservice Excellence Summit, a three-day conference gathering over 70 industry experts, including CEOs, consultants, and executives from major hospitality groups. Organized in collaboration with the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI), the summit will focus on pertinent topics such as evolving customer expectations, sustainability, and kitchen design, offering participants insights into key industry trends and strategies.

Another significant initiative is the YouthX Future Consultant Challenge, a competition for students who will have the chance to develop innovative concepts for the restaurant sector using the latest equipment showcased at the fair. Rounding out the program are the Chef Talks, featuring prominent chefs from the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) who will share insights into culinary innovations. Meanwhile, the Coffee Experience Lab will offer workshops and masterclasses on coffee, with demonstrations led by internationally renowned baristas and roasters.

Business opportunities and foodservice growth in the Middle East

The growth of the hospitality and restaurant sectors in the Middle East is reflected in the success of GulfHost. The MENA region, in fact, is on track for significant expansion in the restaurant market, which could reach $82 billion by 2028. At the same time, over 56,000 new hotel rooms are under development, with further investments planned to stimulate tourism growth and hotel construction across the region. GulfHost aligns with this rapid growth, offering industry professionals an ideal platform to explore new opportunities and innovative solutions.
